Back about 7 years ago I went through the PSI Basic and PSI7 in California. Since then I have been doing anything possible to discourage other men and women from making the same mistake of attending this.

I am also fairly active in the ex-PSI yahoo group. The last few days I have been going over the post here in this thread and it is much as I expected. Many people expressing concerns and some defending the organization. It is my belief that PSI should be disbanded.

Whatever good the organization has done is far out weighed by the dangers it presents. PSI loves to be honored for the help they have given the community, but accepts no accountability for the harm they have done. NONE. They have their own language they use to blame everyone else to escape responsibility for their own short comings.

My story is much the same as others posted here. I enjoy spirited debate with any PSI apologist. Most of the PSI supporters need to go back to their PSI groups for an opinion. They can't think for themselves.

They are like a big step-ford community, all trying to take on the same personality. Many of the PSI supporters are in fact the same person.

Anyway I just wanted to check in and express my opinion; PSI Seminars are in fact very dangerous and should be avoided. These people are more interested in emptying your pockets than saving your soul.

I for on am very greatful to Klemmer and Associates. I have found my purpose for my life buy looking in to my past and seeing what I was tring to do over and over that was not working.

As far as a cult. Look at the true meaning. I have never had any thing but support from any of the facilitators and staff. I have never been told what I nneded to do.

I have never been forced to beleive any thing that was against my principals. I have been encouraged to live my Dreams and help build a better world. As I am doing. I feel that it is each persons journey.

That when each person is ready to give up the junk and fears that they carry around that limits them in everything they do they can progress and have an amazing life. Every moment is a choice there is a cost and a benefit.

It is always your choice which one you want a cost or a benefit. I am clad I made the right choice because my life is amazing.

Is Klemmer and Associates a cult? Maybe,is klemmer personal mastery a scam - most definitely!!!

My complaint is why klemmer associates facilitators look neither fit nor have a track record of high performance? seems more like overweight teachers that cant practice what they preach??Can Klemmer and associates train you on leadership and character development?

if you run a dysfunctional church! Do You buy vitamins and medicine from quacks to give to your friends and family?

s Klemmer and Associates a cult? Think Again, it could be.

Is it a scam? If you think paying $15K to find out you are afraid of your own shadow, Klemmer and Associates instructors are overweight, and there is low probability you will ever be rich, skinny and happy, yes Klemmer is a scam..you see paying $15K to find out that your beliefs hold you back is a SCAM.

Can Klemmer and associates train you on leadership and character development?

Maybe if you run a dysfunctional church, Do You buy vitamins and medicine from quacks to give to your friends and family? Try it and bring your wallet and suspend common sense...Klemmer and associates woul love to ahve you at the next Champions Workshop or attend A PSI Basic Guest Event...LOL

I took the PSI Basic Seminar in 2005 and have since done all the classes they offer.

One of the things they teach in the Basic is an understanding of the word "Prejudice". In this context, it means judging something before you have all the information.

In reality, we all do it and one of the things I have found interesting is what we, as humans, make up about things when we don't have all the information.

When I attended my first Basic Seminar meeting, I decided it must be a cult because some of the younger people were well dressed, smiling, and dancing.

What else could it possibly mean?

What I later realized was simply that they were young people who were well dressed, smiling and dancing. The rest I made up because I didn't know what else it could mean.

What I can say is that choosing to attend the Basic Seminar and the other classes PSI offers has been the best decision of my life. Learning about myself through the work I have done has given me the inner strength to do things I never dreamed possible. I was a successful business person before taking the classes, but there was something lacking about how I felt about myself. PSI didn't give me the answers. They simply provided exercises and situations where I had an opportunity to look at myself in the mirror. In doing so I have gained self-confidence and self-esteem that I lacked before.

Many times I have been tempted to respond to PSI critics on pages such as this, but having an argument with someone who has already made up their mind is pointless.

So I am writing about my own experiences for the benefit of anyone who is trying to make up their mind about doing PSI.

Keep in mind that for 35 years PSI has existed without advertising. It has been successful because people who have done the classes and enjoyed them, tell their friends and family about the classes.

If you have a friend or family member who is asking you to attend, I would ask you this. Why would you listen to someone you don't know and have never met rather than someone you do know and trust?

Here's the truth.

Do relationships sometimes end after people get involved with PSI?

Yes, they do.

And isn't it true that people who have never attended PSI also have relationships end for one reason or another?

Of course they do.

Do people who are involved with PSI and love what it has done for them tell their friends about it.

Certainly, we do!

And we do so because we love it.

Just because you cannot understand something you haven't experienced yourself doesn't make it bad or weird. If you came upon someone being baptized, you might think the person holding them was trying to drown them, but of course you would be wrong. But because you didn't understand what was actually taking place, your brain attempts to fill the blanks with what you do know.

In fact, that is one of the things I have really enjoyed about my many experiences with PSI. They usually don't tell you what's coming next during the classes and I've found it interesting to see what our minds make up when we don't know. It can actually be quite funny.

I agree with the person who posted the list of books and suggestion about doing Toastmasters and having a mentor. I have read most of these books, am currently attending Toastmasters and I do have several mentors. These can all be very helpful on your road to personal growth. However, when you read a book you only know about something. The PSI courses are experiential, which means you have a chance to learn by doing. You can read a book about riding a bicycle, but you only know about it. The only way you will ever know what it's like to ride a bicycle is to get on one and ride.

One more thing I'd like to share is that by nature I am a very skeptical person and I certainly had my doubts about PSI when I first got involved. I had to know for myself whether the organization was

as much about integrity as it seemed. What I have since discovered is like any other group, it consists of people who are imperfect. But I can tell you that the people I know and know well are some of the finest people I have ever met. These are people who are genuinely concerned about your personal growth and happiness.

I'm sure the critics are going to chime in and say that I drank the Kool-Aid and cannot be trusted. Or that I must work for the company. I do not. But I do go back and volunteer to help staff the Basic Seminar on a regular basis because I care about people finding happiness and fulfillment in their own lives. And I'm grateful for what I've gained because of my own involvement with PSI.

My fiance went to this BS and is now doing everything that everyone is talking about... trying to recruit, second guessing our relationship, I cant tell him to read others experiences with this PSI BB because he "doesnt want to read the negativity" Before he went he was reading the stuff with me but his brother paid so he felt obligated to go.

Isnt there some magic phrase like "shallow hal wants a gal" that can snap him out of this nonsense (I know there isn't) How do you snap them out of it?

What can they read?Is there any professional opinions about it like psychologists or scientists? Somebody anybody help before everything is gone!

I agree!!! My ex-wife used my money for our kid's welfare to pay for this!!

Many young people (18-25 years old) are duped into this because they have never attended a church nor read the Holy Bible.

Everything the facilitator says is gospel because they do not know the true word of God. Until we get young folks into the Word, where they have an ability of discernment and are wary of false teachings, we are going to have to deprogram them form their PSI stupor.

When they come home battered, bruised, and used up, they might seek the true and Holy God the Holy Bible talks about.

Presenters like Mary Manin Morrissey have "money" as their god. She skipped out of jail time and pinned the embezzlement on her ex-husband who did the time behind bars. She goes through men like craap through a goose. No wonder she speaks at PSI Principia!

We've deprogrammed several young people who are coming down from the Ranch High. If you really want to improve your life read: 1. Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People.

2. The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles (Bob Proctor stole from him)

3. Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich

4. Brian Klemmer's The Compassionate Samurai (be careful though, Klemmer is a gnostic Christian)

5. John Assaraf & Murray Smith's The Answer

6. Join Toastmasters and do all 10 speeches in the basis manual to receive your CTM (it's much cheaper than PSI's Front & Center)

7. Get off your rear end and do the things you fear!

8. Have a mentor (teacher, minister, priest) to hold you accountable towards your life and educational goals

9. Read Norman Vincent Peale's The Power of Positive Thinking

10. Read Zig Ziglar's See You AT The Top (real all of Ziglar's books)

You can buy all of these books used on the net for pennies unless you want to spend the 20K to attend off of the PSI Seminars. If you take PSI, don't whine when you come home bloodied, bruised, blued, and tatooed and need to be programmed.

"YOU ARE INFINITE POWER. YOU ARE GOD. YOU ARE THE I AM. YOU ARE." was omitted from the CD version of the manuscripts. Bob Proctor advised Jane Willhite that it might be offensive to some people so it was omitted. There is an obvious gap. You can tell from the cadence of the speaker's voice. And has anyone noticed how many time the speaker, Tom Willhite's nephew mispronounces words? It's a real hoot to hear that hick accent!

Bob Proctor said that he would not condone a work that stated "You are God," in it. Tom was not knowledeable of God's word due to his Catholic upbringing where there were no bibles in the pews. He said he went to seminary, but he flunked out.

And who would listen to Carson Johns? A snot nosed kid who fornicates behind the barn with both genders? Go back to San Diegieto High where he learned to plow through the freshman class. A Jane Willhite product.
